Our Essence: Time, Family and True Tradition.

Our journey began in 2018, when we proudly opened the doors of El Agavero Mexican Grill in the vibrant community of Port Townsend, Washington. We began with one clear purpose: to share the immense culinary richness of Mexico through authentic recipes that respect time, ingredients and tradition.

We take our name from the agave, a noble plant that requires years of patience beneath the sun before reaching its perfect point and revealing its true essence. We follow that same philosophy in our kitchen every day. We firmly believe the best flavors cannot be rushed. That is why our traditional Chicken Mole is prepared with care, slowly bringing together chocolate and fragrant notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.

For us, food is a celebration of the senses. Every time you enjoy the rich aroma of garlic and butter in our Camarones al Ajo, or the comforting flavor of Quesabirria with melted cheese, you are tasting the result of our passion.
